Here A Chick, There A Chick, Everywhere A Chick Chick
Girl Zone is a  webzine based in Burlington, Vermont, but has staff from all over the United States and contributors from around the world. The team works incredibly well together crafting a site each month that reflects their shared commitment.  Girl Zone women form a multigenerational team. Some of us have taken a step off our high power career paths to spend more time with our families and to work on something we strongly believe is important. Recent college grads along with college and high school interns keep the site on track about what is hip and what is not.

And Not Just ANY Chick Chicks
The staff of Girl Zone, though unpaid or barely paid, bring a wealth of talent to the creation of Girl Zone each month. Here is a sampling of the education, work, and real life experiences that make Girl Zone such an amazing site: Degrees in various fields including: Education, Psychology, Business, and Bodywork.  Work experience at places such as: Microsoft, Madison Avenue, and Wall Street Accomplishments in the fields of: Software Development, Children's Publishing, Marketing, Advertising, Girls and Women's Workshop Development, Teen Health Counseling, Game Creation, Product Naming, Writing, and Graphic Arts.  Real Life Adventures not limited to:  Parenting, Traveling, Starting A Business, Volunteering, and an Impressive Array of Pursuits in Sports and the Arts.

The Zone Ahead
Girl Zone has received lots of attention since its launch in November 1997: mentions in Business Week On-line, The NY Times, Publishers Weekly, Family Life, Access Magazine, Lilith, Footwear News, Teen Magazine, USA Today, and CNET to name some. We continue to explore ways to keep Girl Zone available for all girls. Of course our advertisers help us in this pursuit; we are always looking for unique and value-added products to offer our readers. We also actively pursue partnerships with other like-minded companies and organizations to increase our exposure while maintaining our ability to listen to girls.
